At Valhalla Ranch, we raise and train Gypsy Cobs, Gypsy crosses and ranch horses. From time to time we may have babies, or mature horses available. You can find them listed on this page. You can also check out the page “The Ladies” to view pairings and upcoming foals. If you would like more information on any of these horses, we would be happy to provide additional information, photos, and video.
We offer sales, consignment, and training, as well as baby bootcamp for young horses and new owners, and horsemanship coaching. We strive to make the best match possible for both horse and human.

She has been started in driving training, wearing a harnesss and ground driving. She has also worn a saddle and is starting her basics under saddle.

2024 Dreamers Rocky Roan of KDPH
A beautifully bred, correct bay roan gelding with all the conformation and movement to make this guy a standout in the show ring, while gentle and friendly enough for the amateur to bring him along. Temperaments like this guy are what the breed is all about. He is the first to meet you at the gate, absolutely loves human interaction and attention, and his brain is as trainable as any I have seen. We are working on in hand basics for plans to show halter and trail later in the year ( just waiting for a closer show so that we don’t have to haul across America to get there with him). He stalls well, loads and hauls well, stands in crossties, bathes picks up his feet and he is an absolute stunner to look at. This guy right here is what dreams are made of.
I am in no hurry to part with him as I see a ton of potential here and would love to take him to the next level in the show pen. His movement is phenomenal , absolute total package of a guy right there!

2018 Gelding, has spent some time with various trainers learning about life as a gelding. We are excited to work with this stunner! In his time with us, he competed at the at Westworld Equestrian Center in Scottsdale to represent the Gypsy Breed In Open Division, Colorado Gypsy Fest in Amateur, Oklahoma in Open and Amateur. He competed well in Ranch, Western Pleasure and Trail! Since being with us, for 2025 with us he is a solid Walk/Trot type show horse, and at home he is enjoying riding out on the trails. He is a solid 15 hands and a dream to look at.
He is a consignment listing for a client. Currently he is a trail type family type horse. He can do arena work as he has demonstrated in his show career, and loves to get out and be a family pleasure type horse.

Geldings are the ambassadors of the breed! One four favorite things to do out here is to bring along the geldings, exposing them to life on the ranch, in the mountains, on the trail and hauling them. From time to time, we may have some trained geldings available, if you are looking, just ask!
“MEET GRH DEACON”
Affectionately known as “GRIFF”, a 2019 Gedling, he stands a solid and thick 15h. Griff has a solid year of accomplishments under his belt before coming to us, was foaled and started by our friends at Golden R Heart Ranch in Reno NV. He is a son of Golden West, who is a 5 Star Stallion, Gold Medallion of Quality in English, Western and Driving, also receiving his Versatility Medallion of Honor. He is a Hall of Fame Stallion, and proven producer of champions in the show ring. We are PROUD to have this guy in our lineup as a son of WEST! With this pedigree, its no surprise that Griff himself is a GVHS 5 STAR GELDING for both conformation and movement, as well as received his Gold Medallion of Quality under saddle in Western in 2024. He also competed beautifully at Nationals in open classes in 2024, and in 2025 with Amateurs in Scottsdale AZ, and we look forward to another successful show season with him in 2025. In addition to being a great show gelding, Griff enjoys riding out on the trails, and he will see much more of that this year with us as well.
We are proud to retain this home raised gelding here at Valhalla Ranch. He is by our own Hershey’s Sandstone of Valhalla and out of one of the top mares in the world, EMR Sasha who is an own daughter to The Lion King AND Babydoll. This mare is special in her own right as she was and ICSI baby, from a long deceased Lion King. You simply will not find these bloodlines anywhere else!!
In addition to his stellar bloodlines, this young guy is proving himself in the performance arena. As a 3 year old, he swept his green horse classes, with multiple overall titles, as well as national competitor for 2024. He has also received his GVHS Gold Medallion of Quality in both English and Western under saddle and GVHS 4 STAR as as growing stallion! We are also proud to announce that he received ***National Reserve Champion Bred by Shown by 2024***

Thornhill Timones Princess Poppy
Poppy is a 2024
CDE pairs driving National Champion. She was also shown in the Open WT at the Colorado Gypsy Fest under saddle in 2024. Poppy leaves us with a beautiful buckskin filly that we are retaining for our program sired by Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla. She is now residing with our friends at Sleepy Hollow Ranch in Cripple Creek Colorado and we look forward to the great things to come with this wonderful mare in their program.
After a devastating loss, and years off from life with a gypsy horse, Remi was my first gypsy back in my barn. He is a true heart horse for me, and we both taught each other so much. He was absolutely game for anything I asked of him. He carried me safely through both of my pregnancies, helped put on multiple clinics, etc… After years of hard work, competitions, starting colts, riding and driving, he is now living with a dear friend of mine on lush grass and a beautiful view of pikes peak. This guy made it!
Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla
Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla has been a cornerstone of our program, and a top producer time and time again. Shown as a three year old, and again making his debut this year I the show pen, trained to ride and drive, and a proven breeding stallion as he produces type and quality consistently.
In his time as a stallion, he had a solid training program and proved himself on the ranch and in the branding pen as well, earning him a new life as a gelding. If anyone deserves this gift, it is this guy as he has contributed to our program as a stallion and will continue as my number one gelding.

Riverpointe Ella Enchanted is a beautiful 2017 Smokey Grulla Mare. She has been trained to ride, and can be a fun and handy little mare! She stands about 13.3 and just as WIDE, you can swing a rope off her, has both her leads, know how to side pass, and is fun on the trails!

Red was an incredible blessing the time he was with our family. He is and imported from England (now gelding) who sired our junior stallion Kohls Blue Knight of Valhalla. It was a privilege having both of these boys in our barn together, and furthering Reds education as a gelding , on the ranch and in the show pen, ultimately showing successfully with a youth rider, so that he could land in the most perfect home.
SD Fab
Fabi is an imported mare from SD Farms in England. We were happy to bring her into our program, work with getting her refreshed under saddle, and matched with her most perfect person. She even made a show ring debut in-between riding the cattle lease and trails of Colorado. Before leaving for her new home, Fabi was bred to Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla and we look forward to watching this most beautiful pair together.
ANCALAGON THE BLACK VX
Well trained Gypsy geldings are the backbone of this breed. They are the true representatives, and rightfully well sought after. Not only does this guy offer a complete gelding package, he is nicely trained, has the personality to match, and would be suitable for many scenarios.
This is a 2016 GVHS and GHRA Gelding. He goes western or English, has been exposed to obstacles, ropes, dragged logs, moved cattle, worked with 4h kiddos and lesson kids. He has the buttons and the brains to do it all, wrapped in a classy package. Stands right at 15h, stout and big enough for your husband to feel like he’s on a warhorse, yet gentle enough for your kids to love on him. This guy has no shortage of personality, and is truly a barn favorite over here!
This guy is 100% the REAL DEAL. Along with being a all around type on the ranch, or at home, he has been hauled and most recently unanimously won his double judged Ranch horse classes, Ranch Pattern, Ranch Trail, and Ranch Rail Classes at the Colorado Gypsy Fest, placed well in English/Dressage, as well as found himself in the Halter overall arena competing for Supreme and Reserve Champion both in youth and Open classes.
