At Valhalla Ranch, we raise and train Gypsy Cobs, Gypsy crosses and ranch horses. From time to time we may have babies, or mature horses available. You can find them listed on this page. You can also check out the page “The Ladies” to view pairings and upcoming foals. If you would like more information on any of these horses, we would be happy to provide additional information, photos, and video.
We offer sales, consignment, and training, as well as baby bootcamp for young horses and new owners, and horsemanship coaching. We strive to make the best match possible for both horse and human.

Well trained Gypsy geldings are the backbone of this breed. They are the true representatives, and rightfully well sought after. Not only does this guy offer a complete gelding package, he is nicely trained, has the personality to match, and would be suitable for many scenarios.
This is a 2016 GVHS and GHRA Gelding. He goes western or English, has been exposed to obstacles, ropes, dragged logs, moved cattle, worked with 4h kiddos and lesson kids. He has the buttons and the brains to do it all, wrapped in a classy package. Stands right at 15h, stout and big enough for your husband to feel like he’s on a warhorse, yet gentle enough for your kids to love on him. This guy has no shortage of personality, and is truly a barn favorite over here!
This guy is 100% the REAL DEAL. Along with being a all around type on the ranch, or at home, he has been hauled and most recently unanimously won his double judged Ranch horse classes, Ranch Pattern, Ranch Trail, and Ranch Rail Classes at the Colorado Gypsy Fest, placed well in English/Dressage, as well as found himself in the Halter overall arena competing for Supreme and Reserve Champion both in youth and Open classes.

VAlhalla Ranch VX Grandpa’s Dolly
VX Valhalla Ranch Grandpa’s Dolly was recently weaned, born here at Valhalla Ranch out of EMR Lion Kings Sasha by Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla. She has been handled since birth and has a sweet and in you pocket nature. She has baby basics, is working being tied, groomed, led and picking up her feet. She will truly be an asset to someones program, adding her Agouti and Cream along with her coveted bloodlines.
Full sister to Valhalla Ranch Kings Frosti Morning Doll and Valhalla Ranch Mountain Lion who have both been shown successfully.

Buckskin 2 Year Old Filly
Born in December of 2022, GVHS Registered, This Filly is a granddaughter of Babydoll, The Lion King and carries Falcon and The Pratt Stallion in her breeding. Her dam is 15.1 ( is a result of an ICSI with Lion King Semen and Babydoll contributing rare and sought after bloodlines) and sire Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla, a ride and drive stallion who has also shown, and stands 14.3. She will contribute her sweet personality, hair and bone as well as her exceptional breeding and pop of color to any program. She is growing into a nice heavy representative of the breed.
She was shown as a weanling in halter and would excel in that direction with her new owner. Her full sibling Valhalla Ranch Mountain Lion is currently competing in the green horse division for 2024, and has won multiple overall titles, national qualifiers, as well as GVHS Medallion of quality under saddle in both English and Western, and 4 star rated stallion as a growing 3 year old. This is a quality filly who is only offered to reduce redundancy in bloodlines in our program, as we are retaining her full brother as our junior stallion.

Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla has been a cornerstone of our program, and a top producer time and time again. Shown as a three year old, trained to ride and drive, and a proven breeding stallion as he produces type and quality consistently. This guy is an absolute asset to add to a serious program. His color is icing in on the cake as he is currently the only stallion in North America with these color genetics.
He has offspring successfully showing, working on ranches and in the mountains. He has shown that he passes brains and trainability and consistently produces a good horse purebred and crossbred alike, and you can count on him to produce color EVERY TIME! He is trained to cover in hand, or collect on the dummy.
As our program has progressed, we have decided to retain a home raised son and will be offering him for consideration to the right home.
He lives happily in a paddock or does well in a herd of mares. He can also be gelded prior to leaving for his new home.
