At Valhalla Ranch, we raise and train Gypsy Cobs, Gypsy crosses and ranch horses. From time to time we may have babies, or mature horses available. You can find them listed on this page. You can also check out the page “The Ladies” to view pairings and upcoming foals. If you would like more information on any of these horses, we would be happy to provide additional information, photos, and video.
We offer sales, consignment, and training, as well as baby bootcamp for young horses and new owners, and horsemanship coaching. We strive to make the best match possible for both horse and human.

Button is one you should see some videos on if you think you might be interested, because, no doubt you’ll love him after you see him go! He has a Reiner type ability to go around, a soft lope, and a nice stop. He’s not over the top to where he’s going to spin you off or move out from under you, just a nice solid handle to the best of his ability. He can go in a snaffle or in a bridle. He has shown some local dressage shows and consistently scored in the 70s.
He has a nice handle and a nice foundation, hasn’t been ridden out as much as some of ours YET, but we plan to send him to the mountains this summer to do a little weed spraying and no doubt that’ll be a great experience for him.

Is showing successfully in Walk Trot/ Walk Jog Open classes, Unanimously winning Halter, Trail and taking 1 and 2 in his Ranch class in his first show in Scottsdale AZ at Westworld. This is a super handy type gypsy. He has the ability to be soft and responsive and is an absolute pleasure to train. He has competed in AZ, OK and TX in GVHS Breed shows in 2026, and is currently switching gears on a working ranch, checking and doctoring cattle and working brandings. Not only is this a fancy package this is the real deal working ranch horse in the making! He has a snappy handle and is absolutely filled to the brim with talent. We are proud of the bright future ahead of this one!

Betsy is a big beautiful traditional and she is SOLID, she is a National Champion Pairs Driving Mare and husband horse type under saddle. She is on consignment for a client , would need a tuneup for riding or driving, since she currently has a foal on her side. She will remain open, but putting her in foal is an option as well. She foaled beautifully as a maiden and was an easy breeder as well. I really can’t say enough nice things about this girl. She is well mannered and LOVES her belly scratches. I know this is a tough one to let go for her owner, and rightfully so, because she really is all that and a bag of potato chips.

This mare is one of my best producing girls. She throws tanks, correct, and stunning foals! She has had three foals for us, and each one was better than the next.
She is currently open with a foal on her side and can be available after she weans her current foal. Will be put in foal to our Kohls Blue Knight of Valhalla our Blue Roan GVHS Legion of Honor Stallion with National Titles in halter and under saddle. .
She has driving training, and has been primarily used by us as a riding horse and broodmare. She has pasture roped cattle, and ridden out in the pastures on the ranch. She would need a riding refresher to get back legged up, but has always been a sane and safe girl under saddle.

Joe is a steady and brave horse, which we think is just the best kind out here! He wants to do the right thing and is happy to ask what that might be. He is owned by Valhalla Ranch, was bought as a clean slate and started right here. In his first 30 days, he made the trip to Arizona to show with the team at Westworld and handled it beautifully. He has since Travelled to Oklahoma and Texas and shown on the GHSA/GVHS Show circuit. In addition to show training, he is riding out in the pastures, has checked cattle, ridden ravines, and enjoyed being a HORSE. He shows incredible trainability and is truly a pleasure to work with. He is shown in his first season under saddle and to be shown by an amateur rider and holding his own in open classes.
He has the makings of a true athlete, with the brain everyone wants in a gypsy. This is the one to watch!

Geldings are the ambassadors of the breed! One of our favorite things to do out here is to bring along the geldings, exposing them to life on the ranch, in the mountains, on the trail and hauling them. From time to time, we may have some trained geldings available, if you are looking, just ask!
Gypsy Dreams Sterling Silver
We are happy to have the opportunity to share this guy with the world. After a scary incident of him going septic, and foundering post gelding; we are making a comeback. About a year later, we are at a point where we can start getting back to work, and boy does this guy enjoy being a part of things. We count our blessings every day we get to go to the barn and see him standing there to greet us, and now every ride we have together is a continued blessing. We are looking forward to bringing this guy to his full potential and enjoying the ride!

Affectionately known as “GRIFF”, a 2019 Gedling, he stands a solid and thick 15h. Griff has a solid year of accomplishments under his belt before coming to us, was foaled and started by our friends at Golden R Heart Ranch in Reno NV. He is a son of Golden West, who is a 5 Star Stallion, Gold Medallion of Quality in English, Western and Driving, also receiving his Versatility Medallion of Honor. He is a Hall of Fame Stallion, and proven producer of champions in the show ring. We are PROUD to have this guy in our lineup as a son of WEST! With this pedigree, its no surprise that Griff himself is a GVHS 5 STAR GELDING for both conformation and movement, as well as received his Gold Medallion of Quality under saddle in Western in 2024. He also competed beautifully at Nationals in open classes in 2024, and in 2025 with Amateurs in Scottsdale AZ, and we look forward to another successful show season with him in 2025. In addition to being a great show gelding, Griff enjoys riding out on the trails, and he will see much more of that this year with us as well.
We are proud to retain this home raised gelding here at Valhalla Ranch. He is by our own Hershey’s Sandstone of Valhalla and out of one of the top mares in the world, EMR Sasha who is an own daughter to The Lion King AND Babydoll. This mare is special in her own right as she was and ICSI baby, from a long deceased Lion King. You simply will not find these bloodlines anywhere else!!
In addition to his stellar bloodlines, this young guy is proving himself in the performance arena. As a 3 year old, he swept his green horse classes, with multiple overall titles, as well as national competitor for 2024. He has also received his GVHS Gold Medallion of Quality in both English and Western under saddle and GVHS 4 STAR as as growing stallion! Poppy is a 2024
CDE pairs driving National Champion. She was also shown in the Open WT at the Colorado Gypsy Fest under saddle in 2024. Poppy leaves us with a beautiful buckskin filly that we are retaining for our program sired by Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla. She is now residing with our friends at Sleepy Hollow Ranch in Cripple Creek Colorado and we look forward to the great things to come with this wonderful mare in their program.

After a devastating loss, and years off from life with a gypsy horse, Remi was my first gypsy back in my barn. He is a true heart horse for me, and we both taught each other so much. He was absolutely game for anything I asked of him. He carried me safely through both of my pregnancies, helped put on multiple clinics, etc… After years of hard work, competitions, starting colts, riding and driving, he is now living with a dear friend of mine on lush grass and a beautiful view of pikes peak. This guy made it!
Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla
Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla has been a cornerstone of our program, and a top producer time and time again. Shown as a three year old, and again making his debut this year I the show pen, trained to ride and drive, and a proven breeding stallion as he produces type and quality consistently.
In his time as a stallion, he had a solid training program and proved himself on the ranch and in the branding pen as well, earning him a new life as a gelding. If anyone deserves this gift, it is this guy as he has contributed to our program as a stallion and will continue as my number one gelding.

Riverpointe Ella Enchanted is a beautiful 2017 Smokey Grulla Mare. She has been trained to ride, and can be a fun and handy little mare! She stands about 13.3 and just as WIDE, you can swing a rope off her, has both her leads, know how to side pass, and is fun on the trails!

Golden Oaks Drop a House on It “Dorthy”
Dorthy is a 2023 beautiful Blue Roan filly out of Golden Oaks Drops of Jupiter by SD Cyclone. She has the most beautiful light roan coat in the summer, and dark and fluffy in the winter.
She has been started in driving training, wearing a harnesss and ground driving. She has also worn a saddle and is starting her basics under saddle.

Red was an incredible blessing the time he was with our family. He is and imported from England (now gelding) who sired our junior stallion Kohls Blue Knight of Valhalla. It was a privilege having both of these boys in our barn together, and furthering Reds education as a gelding , on the ranch and in the show pen, ultimately showing successfully with a youth rider, so that he could land in the most perfect home.
SD Fab
Fabi is an imported mare from SD Farms in England. We were happy to bring her into our program, work with getting her refreshed under saddle, and matched with her most perfect person. She even made a show ring debut in-between riding the cattle lease and trails of Colorado. Before leaving for her new home, Fabi was bred to Hersheys Sandstone of Valhalla and we look forward to watching this most beautiful pair together.
ANCALAGON THE BLACK VX
Well trained Gypsy geldings are the backbone of this breed. They are the true representatives, and rightfully well sought after. Not only does this guy offer a complete gelding package, he is nicely trained, has the personality to match, and would be suitable for many scenarios.
This is a 2016 GVHS and GHRA Gelding. He goes western or English, has been exposed to obstacles, ropes, dragged logs, moved cattle, worked with 4h kiddos and lesson kids. He has the buttons and the brains to do it all, wrapped in a classy package. Stands right at 15h, stout and big enough for your husband to feel like he’s on a warhorse, yet gentle enough for your kids to love on him. This guy has no shortage of personality, and is truly a barn favorite over here!
This guy is 100% the REAL DEAL. Along with being a all around type on the ranch, or at home, he has been hauled and most recently unanimously won his double judged Ranch horse classes, Ranch Pattern, Ranch Trail, and Ranch Rail Classes at the Colorado Gypsy Fest, placed well in English/Dressage, as well as found himself in the Halter overall arena competing for Supreme and Reserve Champion both in youth and Open classes.

WHO WANTS THAT TALL AND FUN RIDING GELDING!!!!
2018 Gelding, In his time with us, he has competed at the at Westworld Equestrian Center in Scottsdale to represent the Gypsy Breed In Open Division, Colorado Gypsy Fest in Amateur, Oklahoma in Open and Amateur. He competed well in Ranch, Western Pleasure and Trail! Since being with us, he has been a solid Walk/Trot type show horse, and at home he is enjoying riding out on the trails, schooling WTC and has both leads. He is a solid 15 hands and a dream to look at.
He spent the last year being a trail type family type horse for a client. He is now in a consistent training program with us, and his price tag will increase as he gets legged up and competes with us in the 2026 show season. He has ponied colts, had a rope swung off him and dragged objects. He rode the cattle lease with a group of horses with one of our amateur clients. He has shown that he can do arena work as has demonstrated in his show career, and loves to get out and be a part of things..
